guile-cairo-dev software package provides Guile bindings for Cairo, development files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install guile-cairo-dev
guile-cairo-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the guile-cairo-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep guile-cairo-dev *
You will get with guile-cairo-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
